Your staff come away with a very good picture of the current status of their health, fitness and wellbeing.

They're given the opportunity to talk about their health and what they can do to improve it. They're given advice and encouraged to set goals.

It's a non-threatening, deceptively simple process and confidentiality is respected, absolutely.

ORGANISATIONAL HEALTH CLIMATE SURVEY

There are also benefits for the organisation in the form of a Health Climate Survey.

Without individual confidentiality being breached, I'll provide you with a short report that will look like this:

Classification of average scores: Excellent - less than 40. Good - 41 - 50. Fair 51-60. Poor - over 60.

When you look at this graph you'd be thinking, 'Hmmmmm, there's a few people here not in great shape.' Then you'd be thinking what this was doing to your productivity and your workers compensation premiums. People scoring more than 70 on the profile are having to put up with a lot of 'background noise'. It takes their mind off the job.

Symptoms, issues and concerns

In the table below I've registered those scores of 5 and over on the profile as being a symptom, issue or concern, the most pressing of which have been highlighted. Scores on each item have been ranked - the higher the score the worse the problem.

hen you see a profile like this you've got something tangible to help you make decisions about which health, fitness and wellbeing issues need to be addressed in your workplace.

Without much bother I can measure blood pressure, glucose and cholesterol at the same time. A small percentage of your staff will not be aware that they have some sort of metabolic dysfunction - as measured by these symptoms.

So there you have it, a neatly packaged assessment which benefits your staff and your organisation.

Who provides the service?

I do it myself. I enjoy talking to people about their health, fitness and wellbeing and helping them to focus on the things they need to do to improve it.

The investment?

Send me an email and I'll talk to you about it.

Regards

John Miller

It's a big ask expecting to get better by having someone do something to you; sooner or later you have to do something to yourself.
