A lot of people have written to say how much they've enjoyed one of my sessions, how it fired them up to start looking after themselves better.

If you'd like me to inspire and motivate your staff to keep themselves fit and healthy to the best of their ability, just give me a call (0424) 391 749 or send me an email.

I thought I would let you know that having changed my eating habits, to a much healthier choice and doing much more exercise daily I have lost almost 20 kg and I can now sit on the floor, reach forward and get my wrists past my toes.  Only just, but as I could barely get my finger tips to my toes at the beginning of the year I am very pleased with my progress.  I don't really know why I chose this goal, but I did and am proud of my achievement.

I have not been a yoyo dieter and at 62 years of age this is the first time I have actually 'dieted' (although it is not really a diet, but just being careful of the fat and calorie content of the foods I eat).

I have change my whole way of looking at food and have found that there are a lot of foods I thought I didn't like that I now eat and enjoy.

I give thanks to you and the seminars on healthy living that you have given at the Brisbane ATO.

Hi John

I just wanted to say how terrific your session was today. Excellent tips and exercises, and even better, some pain relief immediately. Thank you.  (Lady in black.)

John

I've recently attended your crook back seminar at the Tax Office.

The exercises I learnt during the session which I'd been doing religiously since have helped enormously.  In fact I got to 70-80% fit back and pain free.  I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks for showing me the path to getting healthier and more importantly motivating me in achieving it.

I have also visited your web site and came across more useful information and wanted to buy a copy of your book but could not find the hard copy version available.  Please advise if its available on hard copy and where I could find it at your convenience.

My back got so stronger over a short period of time. I started to run around like an 18 year old and played two games of golf over 3 days.  Consequently it is now very tender thanks to the golf games and jarring that occurred whilst running around with my 6 year old.  Trying to rest it now and just needing advice on the best resting positions and how long it should be rested before starting to stretch and strengthening exercises.

Once again thanking you from the bottom of my heart for what you’ve done for me and wishing you all the very best in your attempts to fix all crook backs.  God knows the Chiro's won't do it.

Hi John

Thought I'd write and say thanks for your advice. Lactose is my problem. I wish I'd found this out years ago. Have changed to all Soy products that I quite like anyways and my life has changed. No more feeling sick, it really has changed my lifestyle!!  (not starving myself because I was to scared there wouldn't be a toilet close by to dash to.....especially made a difference to my week in Bali....that was the last problem I needed).

I have more energy, feel better, and have lost a few Kilo's from staying away from those fatty milk products!!

Thanks again

Thoroughly enjoyed the content of John's sessions, which he melded into a fascinating and powerful presentation. His common sense approach to the way people react psychologically in response to poor physical condition was a real eye opener and it was refreshing to hear that we don't necessarily have to spend money on treatments that we can apply to ourselves.

The exercises were simple enough to remember and the important thing is that if we are consistent the results are manifested quickly . I thought I knew enough about physiology until John really clarified things!

Many thanks for your latest email, I think you have an element of ESP!!!
I've been dealing with this very issue -the drug pushing doctor vs the

You may or may not recall you did a great health assessment for me last

joined Weight Watchers and it will be a very long and slow weight loss but
at 41 I'm smart enough to know it's not a diet it is about my lifestyle
change.

The exercise issue I am tackling very slowly, BUT TRYING as my
30kg excess is creating havoc but I know it is my only way ahead.  I had a
long and hard think over the Christmas /New Year  break about where I want to be in life.

I too enjoyed meeting with you last week.  One of the most helpful and distinguishing aspects of "Miller Health" is your combination of exercise and nutrition.  With thanks to you, I am amazed so many people, when they decide to do something for their health, focus on either a diet they are keen on, or an exercise program.  Sooner or later either peters out.

Thank you for the links. I will be endeavoring to keep up the healthy discipline with attention to what I eat, and removing the barriers to regular and meaningful (aerabytes) exercise!  Over the past 3 (?) years I've gone well by running for a minimum of 30 minutes (often more), cutting out the bread/flour (although not religiously) and added psyllium husk to my diet. Time to step up!

PS:  There's few mornings I don't remember you - as I pull the psyllium husk out of the pantry!

Thanks for your recent visit to our office. I attended your CrookBack Clinic (I was your first demo bunny at the dept of environment session) and have been doing many of the exercises daily.

You spoke on Monday at our professional day.  Whilst I don't mean to sound like a whinger, on the whole I didn't find the day overly informative or interesting, but one of the highlights for me was your talk.  I found it interesting and informative and thought you engaged the audience on a level that no one had managed to do so prior to your session.

I started here in 2006 after working as a plasterer for 10 years.  I sometimes get sick of the public service mind set and it was refreshing to listen to someone with a down to earth outlook who is not caught up in the political correctness I deal with every day.  I like to say it how it is and I liked listening to someone who does the same.

Anyway, I just thought you may like some feedback on your work - Bloody good job!

Even the one where you sit on the floor with the legs out front and try to touch your toes by lifting the legs up and moving the hands down further towards the ankles then straightening the legs out on the floor....I have never never been able to do this very well but I do believe it is getting easier.  So thank you for your info.

John

My physical wellbeing was at a low ebb early this year.  It was partly age and partly the way I lived.  Anyway I was lured to some of your well being sessions run by someone who had worked at the Institute of Sport. He had an interesting presentation style and I managed to retain some of the advice given.

Besides being entertaining, this session encouraged me to change my eating habits and exercise more.  I lost 9 kgs in two months and more importantly shed some of the symptoms that had caused me to visit too many health specialists this year.

Bottom line is that although I have gone through this process several times in my life, this time it appears to be "taking".  I have just come back from 8 weeks hols and I didn't pig out too much, I'm already looking forward to cycling and walking.  I put this down to the the quality of the information given at the sessions and the fact that the presenter (sorry I can't remember his name, I've only been back at work two days!!!)  was able to tailor his advice to the participants.

These were very worth while presentations, I'd recommend them to anyone and hope that we have more in the future.  I don't think one can get enough positive reinforcement.

John

Thank you for your sessions the other day.  A lot of the staff have advised that it was excellent and helped some refocussed on the essential in life – taking that five minutes out to smell the roses.

John

I would like to say thank you for the wellbeing session, especially the one for back in alignment. I've taken most of the benefit from that program and would recommend it to staff members who have a back problem.

I have used Bowen Therapy every four weeks as I have back pain dating back to a past injury when I was a child. I had been constantly visiting chiropractors for the last five years. I've also tried acupuncture, but the pain is still lingering on and off and I could hardly say I feel fine each day.

I was told to do exercise, from complex to simple ones, but none of those exercise suggested by physiotherapy and chiropractors worked for me. It made me either get more headaches or the pain returned rather quickly.

It was very helpful about the office offer of a Crookback session for staff where people were introduced to exercises that can strengthen their back. Since I have tried that many before and yet was still feeling the pains (my back, neck or thigh and leg), I started to do those exercise suggested by John Miller.

I have tried them for 2 weeks. I feel more comfortable when going to sleep where previously I could not sleep in a certain position. I could feel the aching from my back and my head.

As a result of that, I have cancelled my Bowen therapy and testing how far I can go if I keep on doing John Miller’s Crookback exercise program. I feel less tired compared to before as I did not do those exercise. I am more productive working during the day.

But the difficult part is – you must do those exercises every day. One day, I did not do that I felt the same problem recurring - pain and headache. I understood my problem is an old injury which I was never aware of.  I need to keep it up.

I told my husband to do the same; he feels more comfortable after doing those exercises and more flexible compared to other exercise.

ATO should widely promote this to all staff especially because every one of us are using or sitting in the terminal for a long period of time. This program helps us to get our back in a better re-alignment and there is no other better means to alleviate my pains than the Crookback exercises.

I can control my life more to the way I want and I spend each day 10 to 15 minutes (before going to sleep) and that helps me to have a comfortable sleep and re-energize my whole body.

I enjoyed your seminar immensely and appreciated the humour that permeated your talk.  It was informative, delivered in a practical manner and based on (un)common sense. Although I am lean, fit and healthy, I am always keen to read updated information that will help me stay that way - or improve on the methods I presently employ.

People like you will certainly make a difference to the lives of people who aspire to improve their general health and wellbeing, so keep up the good work.  I have recommended your seminar to others in the Tax Office who would enjoy and benefit from your information.

Just thought that I would say thanks for the session during this past week. I did not get much time to speak with you (I was the one that has lost nearly 17 kgs so far) but I started this as a result of attending a previous session you gave at the Police Club.

I now am getting better at keeping myself fitter and stronger and I am glad that I have because I would have been embarrassed in my previous state trying to do your exercises and stretches. I will continue my fitness routine and introduce some of the things you taught us with my goal being to lose a further 15 kgs. Thanks again

Hi John

Please keep me on your mailing list.  Like your program.  Have started exercising more regularly now ( I commenced jogging every second day and am eating more sensibly now as well......particularly with my salt intake.....cut right back) and feel better for it.  Still working on the seven habits for good health.

I particularly liked your "pearls of wisdom" you gave us during your session so would appreciate more whenever you like.

I also spoke positively of your session with our local  Health Board CEO and gave him your website address to peruse.  He is also one that is looking for ways to help his board members with personal health, etc,.... so he may be in touch.

Hi Lincoln,

I attended this seminar at the AIS and thought it was fantastic.

The presenter, John Miller really knew what he was talking about and provided a light hearted approach to the day. It was really easy to listen and take on board all of the information he was trying to get across.

The course content I found extremely relevant to both my work and life balance. Without health, you don’t work well. I specifically enjoyed the physical assessment component - it was interesting to know at what physical level I was at. I now have a starting point to measure my improvements as I put what I have learnt into place in my life.

I can now identify the stress areas in my workplace and home which is a starting point. Now I can try and eliminate them.

I would recommend this to anyone keen on knowing how to be fit and healthy both mentally and physically.

Maybe a 6 month re-assessment could be done to keep up motivation.

Thanks for this opportunity.

Firstly, thank for your regular emails.  I enjoy reading them (and your wonderful offers, even though I can't take advantage of them!  Alan Pease
would be a very entertaining outing, and your weekend retreats sound heaven)

I am in eastern Arnhem land, and having been here yourself, you will appreciate the desire to participate, as well as the difficulties in doing so.

When I attended your seminar here in town, we did many exercises to strengthen the back, which I found to be very beneficial.  Unfortunately, due to a house move, I have misplaced the booklet and sheets you handed out that day.  Would it be possible to send me another copy, please, as I really need to keep these exercises up to improve my back.  Also, I have recently been diagnosed with Coronary Heart Disease and therefore need to exercise regularly (which I have not been doing for a long time) and work on my fitness.

I am now walking most days, just half an hour or so at the moment, but am building it up gradually.  I would also like to do some (floor) exercises as well to help build myself up.  Any suggestions?  I have a beginner's Pilates video - would that be a good place to start?  I am 54.

I am determined to beat this thing and maintain quality of life.  Your advice would be greatly appreciated.

Regards
Sandra

I was previously employed with Telstra and attended a Best of Health program that was being run at that particular time. I believe there was some good information out of this course & I personally benefited from having participated (Approx. 6 yrs ago now). Since then I now find myself with a new employer & as a shift worker. Is there any specific material you have in this area, & how to deal with the specific challenges faced by a shift worker (balancing food, sleep, exercise etc) as this type of work is new to me?

Hi John

Thanks for the email and the newsletter that followed. You did a Back in Alignment session at the ATO Albury a few months ago that I attended and from that moment on I have been inspired!!

On your advice I have started attending the gym for strength training and even though I am time poor I have finally managed to get there 3 times a week. I can feel the difference in my arms (RSI in the right arm) already. Also have learnt some basic Tai Chi to practise at home and thrown my daughter off the swiss gym ball.

I have passed your email onto a few people here (crook backs) and will look at the websites you have recommended. So thank you for your advice and enthusiasm on health and fitness - it has given me a new direction.

Thanks John

I enjoyed your visit to ATO Newcastle immensely and was surprised to learn new things. (I'm not being arrogant but as a sufferer of Fibromyalgia, I thought I had just about heard everything that might help).

The most interesting thing was that we need to be fit to sit.

A desk job is the worst thing for my affliction and your advice re the need to be strong and fit to cope with this most unnatural state was invaluable (and logical when you think about it.)

The last 10 years were spent doing 2 children and tax reform and I'm now in the process of reclaiming my life and improving my health (gym 2 - 3 times per week and better diet).

Looking forward to your next newsletter.

It's fair to say I come from a family of  food and life loving stock, all looking like we've been in the good paddock for a long time!  but I know it's also bloody well killing us.  You may recall I wrote to you last year - I have lost my father to heart disease, 1 brother to diabetes and  2 other brothers have heart disease.  Now out of 11 children - I may be the youngest but my number will one day come up!

I have just taken myself off fluid tablets and my doctor is very unimpressed but I have asserted myself and said well it's my body and I'm listening to it.  I also suffer from really low blood pressure and I  simply felt I'm losing just too much fluid, and started to get killer leg cramps in bed.

Now back to business.

I was fortunate enough to hear you speak at the Results Through People Forum in Brisbane last year and as stated above we have communicated previously via email.

I work at XYZ and I just wanted to let you know that I have asked our RTP co-ordinator to speak to Randy & Co at RTP and try for us to get you down here.

I'll leave it at that and look forward to communicating with you, you are very inspirational and I thank you because your presentation in Brisbane bought home many home truths and though it has taken time to face them - I'm on the way!

Kind regards
Bill Smith

Dear John

I work with Randy in the Department of Defence and recently attended your seminar on the 7 Habits of Fit and Healthy People, held here at Russell Offices.

Firstly, I must say that I found it very inspiring and so refreshing to finally hear from someone else what I have always known and lived by.

The reason for this email is to request your permission to publish an article on your seminar in the Defence magazine next month.  I work for the editor of the magazine and have been asked to write up an article, providing we can gain your permission to publish it.  The magazine is Defence's primary internal corporate publication and is distributed nationally to both civilian and military personnel.

If you are agreeable to publishing the article, I will send you a draft for comment this week.  In addition, I wondered if you have any photographs or graphics we could include with the article, such as a photo of you in action giving a seminar, and possibly a graphic of the 'food hourglass'?  We will also promote your seminars by providing the link to your website for more information.

I will look forward to hearing from you soon on this and thank you again for giving such an inspirational presentation.

Kind regards

Katharina

Dear John

Just a quick note to say thanks for your Seven Habits seminar here at Defence last Friday. This might strike you as an odd parallel, but it reminded me of dining at a small Italian restaurant near my family home: the kids of the couple who own the place do the waiting, and when they run you through the specials they might say "yeah, g'day, how are youse? Would you like some of the [switch to perfect Italian accent] carbonara di pollo [end Italian]?". In your case, there seemed to be a good mix of Eastern and Western medicine wrapped in Australian common sense.

I married into a family of alternative (you know, healthy) lifestyle freaks -- herbalist mum, nurse sister-in-law, Chinese medicine sister-in-law married to acupuncturist, and my kinesiology-trained wife -- so I had heard a lot of it before, but I enjoyed your presentation of it and have recommended they have a poke through your website and/or say hello.

John

Just a short note to thank you for the excellent presentation you gave up at Defence good ideas seminar about occupational health and fitness.  I thoroughly enjoyed your talk, especially the truths you outlined and the myths you debunked.  The state of our national health is a (its our own fault) disgrace and it was good to hear Deek state much the same on national TV last night.

Through honest seminars like yours people will slowly change (or do I hope for too much).  I grew up in the years when young kids used to jump on their bikes and cycle down to little athletics, cricket and footy and you could never find them around the house; unfortunately in junior sport is dropping.  Simple things like teenagers doing  paper deliveries on a bike are a things of the past.

No one walks, they drive everywhere. Soft drinks and biscuits are no longer a treat, they are the norm.

I spoke to my wife about your presentation.  She has had a sore neck for years and for years I told her it was her posture and a lack of exercise. She is not fat, just soft.  She is a fair weather walker and does no strength at all.  She regularly complains of a sore neck.  I would like to send her down to your gym for a few sessions in common sense and exercise, people sometimes don't listen to the simple explanations; they need a doctor( or personal trainer) to tell them the same thing for a large fee .

It's her b'day shortly and I think she needs a common sense present. Could you advise me if you are able to take her on.

Frank

Thanks for the report. The workshop was excellent, I gained so much from
the day. Your website is a wealth of information ... very motivating. Cheers,

Keep it coming, its all good stuff.  By the way I managed to go through to whole of winter without having to see a Chiro. I have done a lot of heavy physical work and a lot of walking and coupled with your exercises for a crook back managed to get through.  This is a first for me and I am wrapped.

Hi Dionne

I would like to say thank you for your effort to coordinate the wellbeing session. Especially the one for back in alignment. I take most of the benefit from that program. I'd like to attend the coming session which will held on 5 September 2005.  From my experience of last few weeks, I would recommend the staff member who have back problem should give it a go.

I have used Bowen Therapy every four weeks as I have back pain dated back to past injury when I was a child. I had been constantly visiting chiropractor for the last five years. I also tried acupuncture, but the pain is still lingering on and off where I could hardly say I feel fine each day.

I was told to do exercise, from complex to simple one, but none of those exercise suggested by physiotherapy and chiropractors work for me. It makes me either more headache or pain returning rather quickly, I also have gym machine working at home (walking and push-up still not working perfectly).

It was very helpful about the office offer wellbeing session to staff. The introduce exercises where they can strengthen their back. Since I have tried that many and still feeling the pains (my back, neck or thigh and leg), I started to do those exercise suggested by John Miller.

I have tried that for 2 weeks, I feel more comfortable when going to sleep where previously I could not sleep in a certain position. I could feel the aching from my back and my head.

As a result of that, I have cancelled my Bowen therapy and test how far I could go if I keep on doing what John Miller’s program. I feel less tired compared to before as I did not do those exercise. I am more productive working during the day.

But the difficult part is – you must do those exercises every day. One day, I did not do that I felt the same problem recurring - pain and headache. I understood my problem is an old injury which I never aware of.  I need to keep it up.

So to make that work, one must religiously do those programs every day. I adopt that exercise and it works perfectly fine for me. Even if you don’t have past problems like I did, I told my husband to do the same, he feels he could feel the comforts after doing those exercises and be more flexible and stretching compare to other exercise.

ATO should widely promote this to all staff in doing that especially every one of us are using or sitting in the terminal for a long period of time. This program helps us to get our back in a better re-alignment and there is no other better means to alleviate my pains than this exercise.

I can control my life more to the way I want and I spend each day 10 to 15 minutes (before going to sleep) and that helps me to have a comfortable sleep and re-energize my whole body.

I meant to send an e-mail saying thanks for your presentation.

My diet has changed significantly, (but still has some more to go) and I've got my exercise going a little bit more regularly.

Dear John

This is just a note to say thank you for all the useful health information, it has assisted me in loosing 17kgs in the last 12 months.

Unfortunately when you send hyperlinks I can not open them as I do not have access to the web. But please continue to send me info in your newsletter, it is always informative and often funny.

Hi John

I guess one of the reasons I continue to read your newsletter (& other writing) is that it is regularly 'out of the box', irregular, not quite sure what you'll say next (though i expect a degree of consistency in the message you communicate from one newsletter to the next). No point writing professionally if it doesn't get read (I gather you succeeded in this respect with previous respondent).

Professional reading requires distinguishing between editorial, comic, narrative  etc etc. Glad you are feeling free in life

Ross

Hi John

Thanks for your recent newsletter, and may I take this opportunity to wish you all the very best for your future endeavors.

I attended a couple of your sessions in the NT last year, and this year have taken the bull by the horns.  Reassessed my eating habits, yoga and aqua aerobics once a week, a personal trainer twice per week, my own gym session once a week plus bike riding on the off days.

I must admit I feel much better, am coping better with work and it has been so far a worthy investment not only in my own health and well being but in building up the area around my knee to try to prolong the timing of a partial knee replacement.

Just thought you would like to know that no doubt, at times you feel you may not be getting through but in my case, I have now undertaken what I said I would do!

John

I have many improvements since you last saw me. These have been brought about by

A. cutting back on weight workouts at the gym opting for cardiovascular activities instead.

B. having psyllium husk once or twice a day to increase fibre and cleanse the system

C. having potassium/magnesium tablets twice a day to reduce the acidity levels

D. having a Glucosamine Sulfate tablet once a day to reduce the inflammation in my once broken ankle and to aid recovery.

E. Going for a walk for about 45 minutes nearly every night (as well as the gym)

As a result, I have dropped my waist size from 44 to 38. For New Years Day and Christmas Day I wore a pair of pants I last wore when I was 25 which was amazing. I must confess that I have not lost any weight, currently 100kgs, but I feel my body has been transformed with my waist and hips looking so much better.

John

Following the course I have embarked on my health and fitness regime. I  purchased a heart rate monitor and have been doing 40 minutes a day (5  days per week) of brisk walking and strength exercises. I also  purchased a pack of your 'fit & healthy' mix, aloha vera, fish oil tablets  and Vitamin B. Have also changed the diet to 'eat from the top of the  hourglass' as far as possible.

After only two weeks I have already noticed a difference. My fitness is  improving (evidenced by the stop watch and heart rate monitor), and I  am generally feeling better.

Thanks for the advice and material you provided. Look forward to  reading your newsletters.

John

Thanks John

Since the course I came along to at the Tradies Club in Dickson a couple of weeks ago, I have been putting in a big effort with my fitness and my diet, and feel a lot better for it, the course was very motivational.  So I am very happy for you to send me your newsletter.

Hi John

Thank you for a great seminar this morning.  I found your open and practical advice very refreshing and reassuring. I am a great believer in helping ourselves to heal and not using pills and potions to fix things!

I enjoyed your meditation as well (although I don't think I fully relaxed) and was wondering if you could remind me of the inspiring words/mantra you said at the end of the meditation.  My mind has gone blank as I try to remember what you said after all the other great information you shared and the exercises you showed us at the end.

Once again thank you for an inspiring morning.

Tracey

Hi John

Well you were a major hit in Brisbane.  I have been receiving emails left right and centre.  Can you please let me know your availability to conduct another Brisbane session and the associated costs. We also have an office in Robina with about 25 odd staff so it may be worth our while holding one there as well.

Look forward to hearing from you.

Hi John

I attended your Wellbeing presentation at Albury ATO in September 2006 to do with Sleeping, Relaxing etc.

I thoroughly enjoyed what you presented and it has made me think about a number of habits in my life.

I approached you after the presentation and spoke about my being there to  be able to offer some help to my wife, Pam. I asked did you have any tapes  that I could purchase and you advised to send an email and you would be able to reply with some information for her. What ever you can provide would be appreciated.

Colin

Hi John

Please keep me on your list. I find your information useful and thought provoking + my back is in the best condition it's every been in.

Jenny

Thanks very much for the Newsletter John.

As I do not have a computer at home and do not have internet access at work I look forward to your newsletters and if there is any link that I simply cannot live without I get my daughter to download it for me and eventually I get to look at it.  As she lives 600k away from me it doesn't happen very often.  You never know maybe one day I will get a computer myself.

I thought  would let you know that having changed my eating habits, to a much healthier choice and doing much more exercise daily I have lost almost 20 kg and I can now sit on the floor, reach forward and get my wrists past my toes.

Helen

John

Pease find below comments from participants at your program in Harbour View Plaza for OCPE in March 2006.

"Thanks for organising the Well Mind / Body show. It was very useful."

"An enjoyable session, entertaining and informative, with very useful exercises."

"I really enjoyed our session with John Miller.  The exercises and the meditation at the end was great.  The first part was interesting  and upsetting as our main food at home is pasta and chocolate. It seems I have to work on changing by diet habits.  It was very informative. Thank you for the invite."

"My only comment was to space out the time spent on each topic - more of the relaxation techniques would've been great, although the nutrition information was interesting...Also, John was entertaining (had us rolling around laughing!) I have been doing my stretches every morning and every night since and I feel 'straighter' but hey it's early days yet when I'm in the throws of euphoric achievement - will try to make it last."

"I thought he was very good and very motivating. Felt very unhealthy though."

"Thoroughly enjoyed the session.  Learned some useful points and gave me some things to think about.  The only area where I was less sure was on his expertise in the diet area - hard to find any two nutritionists who agree these days either so it would always be a point of contention."

"Thoroughly enjoyed the content of John's sessions, which he melded into a fascinating and powerful presentation. I thought I knew enough about physiology until John really clarified things!"

"Thanks again to the WWW team (OH&S committee) for an inspiring afternoon. The session was interesting and will be useful in making future decisions about food and health activities. There was a lot of information which I probably won't remember, some things will stick I'm sure. Would have liked the time more balanced between theory and activity. It felt like the exercises were done in a rush. Given the lack of coordination of some people (not me of course, ha!) we won't be able to repeat them correctly, which sort of defeats the benefits to be gained. It will be good to get access to John's book. Overall, a fun afternoon which reinforced that we need to refocus on ourselves and our health much more than we do."

Hello John

I attended the seminar at which you spoke so entertainingly and informatively.  You mentioned a book on backs that you could email.  Could I please have a copy?

Philomena

Hi John

I've just attended both your talks at World Trade Centre. Brilliant - light, informative, humorous, inspiring. Would you be so kind as to send me your 'aerobic diary' and 'back exercises'.

Maria

Hi John

I attended you’re your breakfast on at the Adelaide Hyatt.

I would just like to say that I thoroughly enjoyed your presentation and left the breakfast all inspired.

In fact that is the best advice I have ever heard in regards to taking up jogging!

I would love to get a copy of your book that you mentioned.  Could you please let me know how I go about this?

Paula

Dear John

Thanks for an inspiring presentation today - I cringed 80% of the time knowing I was definitely a culprit of "best intentions/ad hoc spurts of activity/then falling back into working & sitting too much.

Shirley

Hi John

Karen and I attended the today's seminar.  We thought you were a great public speaker and we found the information very interesting and motivating.

Judy

Dear John

You make a lot of sense and I am having to address this area of my life after straying along the food tourist and recreational eating paths

Kath

Hi there John

I really enjoyed the seminar you presented at TGA Symonston yesterday. I came away really motivated

Jenny

Dear John

I enjoyed your seminar immensely and appreciated the humour that permeated your talk.  It was informative, delivered in a practical manner and based on (un)common sense. Although I am lean, fit and healthy, I am always keen to read updated information that will help me stay that way - or improve on the methods I presently employ.

People like you will certainly make a difference to the lives of people who aspire to improve their general health and wellbeing, so keep up the good work.  I have recommended your seminar to others in the Tax Office who would enjoy and benefit from your information.

Regards,
Sharyn

Thanks John

Your course gave me inspiration to go back to formal yoga classes, and a big plus is that I've been able to get my husband to go as well

Thanks for the course - I'm passing on to other people at my work that it was valuable to attend and they should take the opportunity if another one arises

I look forward to your newsletters and I'm sure they'll contain some gems.

Maureen

Dear John

Your seminar was wonderful. I wasn’t going to attend, because I usually go to my weightlifting class at the gym on Wednesdays lunchtime. At the last minute, I decided that I would rather listen to your talk – and I’m so glad I did.

Lynne

Hi John

Thank you for your email.

I attended one of your workshops for ATO in Brisbane sometime last year.

Please continue updating me with your newsletters.  I have also gone through your website and will keep on visiting in the future.  I have learned a lot from your exercises and I feel much better- but i want to exert more effort in losing more weight and exercising more.

Vicky

Hi John

Thank you very much for the 6 presentations you conducted yesterday. I have had excellent feedback from the participants.

Let me know when you will be in Adelaide again for more Wellbeing sessions.

Dear John

Thanks for your prompt reply, very generous offer and link to your works. I'm looking forward to downloading your "Crook Back Book" and maybe others. My wife attended your seminar at the Albury ATO last Friday, and couldn't speak highly enough of you and your methods. I missed out on meeting you myself as I couldn't attend the dinner at the SS&A last Thurs night.

Will most certainly recommend your work to others.

Bill and Sue.
